The role of Auto-scheduling Implementation Administrator exists to support the Timetables team in a programme of work which is being undertaken to change the way it timetables classes, with an aim of reducing timetable clashes, improving the student experience, and making better use of resources. You will prepare, create and manage database records, make recommendations regarding categorisation of data, document relevant processes, and act as a key point of contact for both academic and professional staff, as well as other stakeholders. More detail on tasks and responsibilities can be found within the job description, but key tasks include: • Compile and review information provided by departments on their timetabling needs. • Create database records to prepare the timetabling system for auto-scheduling. • Work closely with academic, technical and professional staff to ensure effective implementation of the new system. • Make recommendations regarding configuration and categorisation of data, and provide feedback and information to optimise the implementation process.
