OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician Apprentice or Licensed Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read schematics. The Automotive Technician Apprentice or the Licensed Tech will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers’ vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous mechanic experience is essential
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as needed during repairs (up to 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including welding when necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.

  Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Assist in heavy lifting when required for vehicle repairs or parts replacement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and enhance service delivery.
