Location: Austin, TX Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time (assigned to one consistent shift) JOB OVERVIEW: We are hiring Automotive Technicians to support maintenance, repair, and readiness of autonomous electric vehicles. This role focuses on keeping vehicles operational through inspections, diagnostics, and light repairs in a fast-paced fleet environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess and document vehicle damage after incidents Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs with vendors Conduct routine maintenance (brakes, fluids, AC, tires, inspections) Monitor vehicle condition and report issues proactively Support field operations, including towing and vehicle movement Transport vehicles for service, repairs, and cleaning Maintain shop and fleet readiness, cleanliness, and safety standards REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience as an automotive technician or similar role Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a safety mindset Experience with EV or ADAS vehicles preferred FULL SHIFT SCHEDULE (ASSIGNED ONE): Friday – Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Days Off: Wednesday & Thursday Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Days Off: Saturday & Sunday Saturday – Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Days Off: Thursday & Friday Sunday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Days Off: Friday & Saturday
