This role involves repairing, restoring, and refinishing a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicles, including transport trucks, trailers, fire trucks, ambulances, and city buses. Why Join Us? Overview/Responsibilities: * Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. * Repair collision damage, including frame straightening and panel replacement. * Work on specialized vehicles such as emergency units and transit buses * Assisting with disassembly and assembly and the overall production. * An understanding of vehicle systems and technology and the need to look up and follow OEM repair procedures. * A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. * A demonstrated positive, work ethic and take pride in delivering a quality repaired vehicle * The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines. * The ability to perform equipment audits to check for acceptable performance and detect faults and possible malfunctions. * Ability to work outdoors to complete general labour tasks if needed. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently. * Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment. * Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction. * Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles. Requirements: * Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required. * 2+ years experience repairing heavy-duty, commercial vehicles and RV's preferred. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work. * All candidates are required to have their own tools. * Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
