POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Advanced Equipment is seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Drafter/Detailer to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately creating fully dimensioned shop drawings, assembly drawings and production details with instructions custom fabricated operable walls based on client specifications as well as maintaining company standards. In addition, you may be tasked with proposing design solutions based on given criteria. You will work closely with the Design Technician and CAD Drafter to ensure the creation of comprehensive documentation.

• Utilize computer-aided design using Autodesk AutoCAD software to create detailed shop drawings and assembly instructions for frames and other fabricated structures.
• Must be able to draw in 2D.
• Interpret client specifications and accurately depict fully dimensioned drawings and details based on provided information.
• Collaborate with the Design Technician and CAD Drafter to propose design solutions when required.
• Develop complete sets of documentation, including comprehensive shop drawings and assembly instructions.
• Participate in product development projects as required, contributing to the design and improvement of various items.
• Collaborate effectively with production staff, engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
