Position: AutoCAD Draftsman – Joinery & Furniture Fabrication
Location: Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in joinery and furniture fabrication to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings, detailed joinery drawings, and coordinating with the production team to ensure high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and furniture fabrication drawings.
Convert design concepts and interior drawings into accurate technical drawings for production.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and carpenters to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
Revise and update drawings as per client/consultant requirements.
Maintain drawing records and ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Civil/Architectural/Interior Design or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of drafting experience in joinery and furniture fabrication.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SketchUp/3Ds Max/Revit is a plus.
Strong knowledge of joinery details, materials (MDF, veneer, PU paint, etc.), and furniture production methods.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
