JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings for construction projects, including roads, buildings, infrastructure, and utilities. The draftsman will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE standards and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in the UAE or GCC.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Civil 3D, and other drafting tools. Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in civil construction, infrastructure projects, earthworks, roads, and utilities drafting.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate and precise civil drawings.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication in English
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work efficiently with civil engineers, surveyors, architects, and project managers.
• UAE Regulations: Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM),, RTA, DEWA, and other authority requirements is preferred.

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, site layouts, and blueprints using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Develop civil engineering drawings for roads, bridges, buildings, drainage, grading, excavation, and utility networks.
• Modify and revise drawings based on engineers’ and project managers’ feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, municipality regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure accuracy in design.
• Conduct site visits to gather data, take measurements, and verify project details (if required).
• Prepare as-built drawings and update changes as per site conditions.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of CAD files for easy retrieval.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and BOQs based on drawings.
• Stay updated with the latest drafting techniques, software, and industry trends.
