Are you an experienced Automated Gate Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join our small team and play a vital role in providing exceptional service, maintenance, and installation of automated gate systems and/or integrated electronic security systems to our expanding client base

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in automated gate installation, servicing, and maintenance.
  • Experience in other electronic security systems (Fire, CCTV, Intruder etc.) preferred but not essential.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with knowledge of access control systems.
  • Understanding of relevant safety regulations, including BS EN 12453 and BS EN 12604.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • CSCS/ECS card or equivalent (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As an Automated Gate Engineer, you will:

  • Survey, design & specify gate automation solutions
  • Carry out routine service and maintenance on a wide range of automated gate systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, minimizing downtime for our clients.
  • Install new gate systems, including automated access control, motors, and safety features.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering technical advice and guidance to clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
