Explore1.ca Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team to service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on automatic door operating equipment, As a growing leader in the industry, we handle challenging projects involving commercial doors, glass, and metal fabrication. Responsibilities:

  • Doors: Service, install, and repair a variety of commercial doors, including swing, balanced, revolving, sliding, and folding grill doors. Work with the full range of automatic door operators, including those from Tormax Automatics, where we are the #1 Canadian dealer.
  • Glass: Handle and install some of the largest glass panels, insulated glass (IG) units, and lites in the world, specializing in complex installations that others cannot manage.
  • Metal Fabrication: Assist in fabricating frames, tracks, and enclosures for doors and glass installations. Work with CNC machinery and other tools to build and assemble metal structures.
  • Execute service and repair tasks in a professional and cost-effective manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to customer-specific programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes and modifications to Stanley equipment, ANSI 156.10 standards, and industry best practices.
  • Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and other assets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Assist and mentor other team members in installation and service methods.
