We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and automation systems, with expertise in various programming languages and design tools. This role focuses on the development and implementation of automated systems that enhance manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design principles and SoC architecture.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering concepts, including surface mount technology (SMT) and mechanical knowledge related to automation equipment.
• Competence in using simulation tools like Simulink for system modeling.
• Understanding of vision inspection systems for quality control processes.
• Ability to work with various programming languages including C++ and SystemVerilog.
• Experience in electrical engineering principles, including soldering techniques and the use of an ohmmeter for testing circuits.

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated systems.
• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks for system design and layout.
• Create and maintain schematics for electrical systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Perform signal processing and debugging of automation systems using tools like MATLAB or Python.
• Develop firmware for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NEC.
• Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of automation projects.
• Conduct testing and validation of automated systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on automation technologies.
