Description

For over 50 years, Armo-Tool has been a family owned and operated business. Now in our third generation, we have earned a reputation for delivering complete “one-stop” automation solutions tailored to our customers needs. Our over 50-year history of building long-term relationships with manufacturing companies throughout North America is based on a focus on service and repeatable quality.
While our industry does rely on continuous investment in precision machinery and design systems, our success depends on the unique skills, knowledge, and hard work of our employees. Their importance in achieving our mission is reflected in every aspect of our operation.
We are seeking an Automation Applications Specialist with a strong background in industrial engineering to lead the development and deployment of advanced automation solutions for our customers. This role will act as a technical expert and key liaison between our engineering teams and customers, translating complex production challenges into efficient, scalable automation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for automation solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Analyze customer requirements, production processes, and systems to propose automation solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead application development efforts from concept to commissioning – including technical documentation, system specifications, and integration planning.
  • Create quotations which includes concept, labour estimates, components selection and costing, ROI calculations, cycle charts, etc.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and on-site technical consultations.
  • Provide post-deployment technical support and continuous improvement insights.
