POSITION SUMMARY

• The Program Manager for the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) will lead the design, execution, and governance of system-wide automation initiatives across the health system. Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, this role is responsible for fostering a culture of digital innovation, with a strategic focus on intelligent automation— including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI-enabled automations, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent document processing (IDP). The Program Manager will develop business cases, drive opportunity discovery, manage an automation pipeline, and ensure delivery of measurable ROI.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field required
• Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Informatics, or Technology preferred

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Required:
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, digital transformation, or process improvement
• Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies (e.g., machine learning, NLP, computer vision) and their application in business and healthcare settings
• Familiarity with RPA and intelligent automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define ROI and track performance metrics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferred:
• Experience with health IT platforms (e.g., Epic, Workday, ServiceNow)
• Certification or formal training in AI/ML or automation development
• Change management experience using models such as ADKAR or Kotter

COMPENSATION (COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE):

$98,342.40 - $154,897.60
