As a growing, international company with an ambitious strategy and a vibrant workplace culture, ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel is looking for Automation & Digitalization Technical Lead to join our Headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Automation & Digitalization Technical Lead is responsible for technical coordination of AD Projects in the region leading and overseeing the technical execution of plant automation projects within a specified geographic region. You will be a point of contact for all Contract execution needs in the region and foster cross-functional team collaboration to ensure successful implementation of automation and digitalization solutions. The position holder will spend 50% of time to lead the team and 50% of time executing the projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS (KNOWLEDGE)

  • Knowledge of process automation, PLC, Software Development, Process Control & Electrical Installations. Knowledge of Digital plant solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge on processes and design of Animal, Aqua, Pet and Biofuel plants is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to Analyze technical requirement as per contract.
  • MS office.
  • Knowledge of solutions within Plant engineering both in Mechanical and electrical areas.
  • Able to understand basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.

SCHOOL EDUCATION

  • Minimum : M.Sc. / B.Sc. Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, Technical Mechanical designer, Technical Constructional designer or similar
  • Desirable : M.Sc. / B.Sc. Mechanical / Electrical Engineer / Process engineer
Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical execution of automation projects, ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers & PMO to define project scope and support with technical requirements.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of automation solutions for multiple projects in the Region.
  • Ensure the integration of automation systems with existing plant operations.
  • Monitoring on-site installation activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters.
  • Provide expert technical expertise and guidance on automation systems, including support to Sales & Proposals.
  • Facilitate resolution of complex electrical installation, automation-related issues coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate automation needs and propose solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, Sales, and service to ensure the successful implementation and operation of automation & digitalization Solutions.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between the regional project teams, senior management, and external vendors or contractors.
  • Responsible for leading regional engineering team, monitor project delivery progress.
  • Ensure that all automation projects comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
