Job Description

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience with AGV systems, including track installation and test commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Experience with HMI design and development.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, contributing to the design, installation, programming, and commissioning of AGV systems across our facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • AGV System Integration: Lead and support the installation and commissioning of AGV tracks and infrastructure.
  • Programming & Configuration: Develop and optimize AGV control logic, including path planning, obstacle avoidance, and task scheduling.
  • Test Runs & Validation: Conduct AGV test runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
  • HMI Development: Design and implement Human-Machine Interfaces for AGV control and monitoring.
  • PLC Programming: Configure and maintain PLCs for AGV and associated automation systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver seamless automation solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, test results, and maintenance procedures.
