REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any Engineering disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of relevant skill experience in automation engineering.
  • Good project documentation skills in English.
  • MUST HAVES – To articulate and demonstrate proficiency through a portfolio of projects and involvement.
  • Solid understanding of control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS, or HMI) and networking protocols (e.g., OPC, OPCUA, MODBUS, Ethernet)
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI (Asset Framework, Module Database, Vision, etc.)
  • Experience in the commissioning of industrial automation systems
  • Added advantage if the candidate possesses knowledge and proficiency in:
  • Familiarity with the GMP environment (specifically 21 CFR Part 11 — ELECTRONIC RECORDS; ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES)
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of risk-based approaches to computer validation
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise cyber resilience and implementing cybersecurity controls
  • AVEVA PI System knowledge about the PI System Standard Architecture (To indicate if you have completed any PI System Admin training courses)
  • Knowledge and mastery of troubleshooting and process improvement processes
  • Working knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88, and S95 industry standards
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the System Owner with AVEVA PI system administration.
  • First point of contact for Automation System/Server-related incidents.
  • System Monitoring/Resolution, System Maintenance, System Break/Fix & Outage notification/Management.
  • Accountable for Application Compliance, User Administration, Disaster Recovery, OS & Application Patching.
  • Lead or support troubleshooting efforts with cross-functional teams to determine root cause and to develop appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead or support the installation and commissioning of Automation Systems.
  • Support system audit preparations in Data Integrity & Cyber Security.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including change requests, validation protocols, technical specifications, and system configurations.
  • Design, update, and maintain detailed system architecture, network, and control system diagrams for automation systems.
