THE ROLE

Sitting in the Automation Group, reporting to the Capital Projects Manager and working across the CAPEX and Maintenance divisions your responsibilities will include:

• Scoping and planning for the automation component of capital works & maintenance
• Liaising with the key stakeholders during the design process
• Preparing technical and design specifications of plant equipment
• Work with trades during the installation and commissioning process
• Supporting the Mechanical design function and liaising with the CAPEX and maintenance group

In order to be successful for this role you will be:

• Tertiary qualified in a relevant area such as Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in design and programming of PLC and SCADA systems
• High level problem solving skills
• Have strong communication skills
• Strong organisation skill
