Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. This role involves being responsible for defining, implementing and proliferating automation projects. What a typical day looks like: Define, Implement, and evaluate projects that improve the manufacturability by Automation applications. Be able to create and define RFQ/SOW documents to quote with suppliers’ new integrations. Simulate electrical and pneumatic design in specialized SW, from simple automation and custom, using standards and implement, improve through new technology WW. Have contact with suppliers of new technologies and evaluate them to see which one is better for the required application. Train in new technologies that are of interest for the different application areas within flex. Take responsibility for the development or implementation of a project. Able to quote and follow up automation integration: simple, custom or entire line for full processes. Work closely with team members to achieve goals with ROI, investment cost, scalable solutions, etc. Effectively participate in promotion activities internally and with customers to represent various industry products, solutions, and value propositions. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: BS degree in Engineering mechanics, mechatronics or similar. Previous experience in data center projects or racks/servers. Heat transfer Pumping systems (centrifugal pumps, VFDs) Flow and pressure control Heat exchangers Coolant Distribution Units (CDU) PLCs (preferably Siemens, Rockwell) SCADA / HMI (Ignition, WinCC, FactoryTalk) Advanced PID control (flow, temperature, pressure) Redundant systems (high availability) Previous experience in screwing processes. Knowledge in pneumatic design, implementation, and debugging for automation development equipment. Knowledge of automation maintenance and engineering. Follow-up on evaluations, plans, and internal strategies. Advanced English level. Experience working with suppliers for automation integration solutions.
