About the Role Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, the role will play a critical part in driving the company's cutting-edge automation initiatives. Based at the Essity, Nakasi site, this position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that will have a significant impact on the business. What You Will Do Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems for industrial automation projects that combine drives, sensors and HMI to automate manufacturing processes Document control system designs, configurations, and standard operating procedures Who You Are To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, and communication protocols Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and other technical drawings Experience in project management and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills What We Can Offer You Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
