Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at Evri, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automated tests that can be triggered both on demand and through deployment pipelines. By enriching the automation test suite and embedding testing early in the process (shift-left approach), you will help prevent defects from reaching production, reduce deployment lead time, and contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-quality enterprise software.
You will work under the guidance of Test Leads and Senior Automation Test Engineers, gaining an in-depth understanding of the Evri parcel lifecycle while upholding test team standards, processes, and promoting a positive view of the testing function.
This is a great time to be joining us! We are growing year on year, with ambitious plans for future growth and we would love to give you the opportunity to grow with us!

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with squad members, Product Owners, Technical Business Analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality enterprise software.
  • Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using the Evri test automation framework.
  • Increasing the level of automation to improve quality and reduce deployment lead time.
  • Ensuring automation is considered early and forms part of acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting System Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing activities.
  • Maintaining and improving regression packs, ensuring thorough automated regression testing on software changes.
  • Tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics around defects.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes across the SDLC.
  • Documenting and sharing knowledge to build collective team capability.
  • Staying up to date with new testing tools, practices, and test strategies.
