INTRODUCTION:

We are looking for an experienced automation engineer to join a large oil & gas FEED project for our customer. The project involves designing new platforms, modifying existing systems, and managing interfaces with several contracts. The right candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in automation system engineering, working with the SAS system design.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10 years of experience in automation engineering, especially in greenfield projects.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in automation and SAS system design, including SAS/automation network solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of automation design and networks, adhering to standards like NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Effective communicator in English (both written and spoken).
• Cooperative and comfortable working in a multicultural team environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Systematic and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and quality.
• Proactive attitude, willing to seek advice and share experiences.

• Design, interface, and manage Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) as directed by the team lead.
• Create specifications for Global SAS system design, including modifications and new designs.
• Review SAS technical documentation.
• Prepare and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Participate in hardware and software design.
• Work with other disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Offshore survey may be required.
