REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in automation engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, JavaScript , or PowerShell .
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in robotic process automation (RPA) tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Exposure to testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Familiarity with PLC systems or SCADA (for industrial automation roles).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA/testing certification (if testing focused).

• Design and develop automation scripts and frameworks for testing, infrastructure, or manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system reliability.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose automation solutions to improve productivity and accuracy.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot automation systems or test frameworks.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline enhancements and integration of automated workflows.
• Document technical procedures, test cases, and results for future reference.
• Monitor automation systems for performance, errors, and security compliance.
