We are looking to enlarge our team with an
Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
at our Chester site.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified electrician with a technical or mechatronic background
  • Professional experience in special machine construction
  • Proficient in software design tools (TIA V17 or higher and WinCC)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience with servo drive systems (S210/S120)
  • Preferably familiar with Siemens SIMATIC Step 7 or willing to learn
  • Strong customer orientation and quick comprehension skills
  • Willing to travel across the UK, Ireland, and potentially the USA & Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning, retracting, and optimization of special machines and systems
  • Supporting the production start-up process
  • Validating software and executing acceptance tests to ensure functionality
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as assisting with troubleshooting
  • Performing safety inspections in compliance with predefined protocols for quality assurance
