Using BrowserStack for cross-platform testing ensures our mobile applications deliver exceptional experiences consistently across diverse devices and environments.
This position follows a hybrid work model (availability to work circa two days per month in the Cork office)

• Design and implement robust automated test suites that validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of NETGEAR’s mobile applications (iOS and Android) and backend systems.
• Manage test cases, execution cycles, and reporting using test management tools, ensuring full visibility of test coverage and quality metrics.
• Create and schedule automated tests across multiple devices and environments using device farms (like BrowserStack) to ensure compatibility and reliability of NETGEAR’s mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand business requirements, evaluate test coverage, and ensure automation requirements are properly defined, implemented, and supported throughout the development process.
• Set up and maintain automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are executed continuously and efficiently.
• Analyze test results, system logs, and user feedback to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities - translating technical findings into clear documentation that drives product quality and enhances the development process.
• Develop and refine the automation infrastructure, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and maintainable while adapting to changing project needs and emerging technologies.
• Champion automation best practices across the organization, driving efficiency, quality, and consistency while mentoring others to build a stronger engineering culture.
