Description
1. Automation Framework Development Build and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible, Shell, Python, and Bash for provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks. Develop reusable modules and templates to standardize infrastructure deployment. Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring version-controlled, repeatable, and secure deployments across cloud and on-prem environments. Implement and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows. Collaborate with Observability Architects to automate deployment of OpenTelemetry collectors, dashboards, and telemetry pipelines. Ensure instrumentation coverage across services and environments using automation. Automate monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability. Support SRE teams in implementing self-healing mechanisms and performance tuning scripts. Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins in production environments. Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell, Python, and Bash. Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem) and containerized platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger), and telemetry pipeline design. Understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs/SLOs, incident response automation, and postmortem analysis.
