Description

OT LEAD ENGINEER

Due to continued growth Rockbrook Technologies are currently looking for a lead IT/OT engineer interested in taking the next step in their career. You will be customer focused and able to build rapport with key team members and management level teams. This role combines project delivery with day-to-day operational support across automation infrastructure, covering both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) within a manufacturing environment. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Automation engineering background with approximately 5 years in IT/OT infrastructure roles
An ability to work independently with excellent communication/interpersonal skills and experience in presenting key initiatives to management level executives.
Automation experience in Industrial Control Networks and communications.
Experience supporting IT/OT systems in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 as it relates to Cyber Security would be an advantage.
Good working knowledge of Siemens Step 7 and TIA portal while not critical would be beneficial.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Process Engineering, IT or related Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

Strong documentation skills with responsibility for maintaining, developing/modifying and updating site specific documents.
Strong understanding of industry standards particularly Site Cyber Security Lifecycle Management following IEC 62443.
You will be the OT lead with responsibility for the management of the site OT Systems, including SCADA process control systems, networks, PLC’s and HMI’s.
Ownership of the OT strategy for the local site to ensure alignment with the global strategy and key input into continuous improvement initiatives.
3rd Party Support Contract Management
Secure Remote Access Management
Continuous Threat Detection and Incident Technical Support
Ownership of OT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
Provide OT Consultation to site management teams
Cyber Security Risk Assessments & Updates, Incident Management areas
Responsible for key decision inputs for site mitigation plans
Provide local guidance on OT Cyber Security training plans and knowledge base
Governance, Incidents and Reporting
Capital Projects support / Approval process for new equipment or significant changes at sites
