Description
Ensure adherence to FAS08, OSHA, and all applicable safety standards for skilled trades work teams. Oversee production control systems, conducting root cause analysis (4D process) and participating in the Constraint Review Process to improve equipment efficiencies and prevent downtime. Support and direct skilled trades/maintenance personnel to optimize production yields, throughput, and uptime through prioritized predictive, preventive, and crisis maintenance, including supervising PM schedules and inspections. Ensure equipment start-up readiness for production and provide input to MPS for weekend/shutdown planning. Utilize Maximo for Maintenance (MFM) to document all maintenance activities and interface with planning. Lead oversight of controls and automation, including indirect supervision of electrical trades, initiating robot/automation/control changes (programming/logic), and working with ME/PE to optimize systems for new programs. Evaluate contractor performance and safety for controls and automation, and liaise with maintenance-related vendors. Work any shift, as well as rotating shifts and weekends. Established and active employee resource groups High School Diploma or GED. One or more years of technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing or OEM Tooling environment. Programming and ladder logic experience. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Controls, or Robotics Engineering. Technical certification in Robot / Automation and Controls. Three or more years of automotive experience. One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook). Validated experience managing a unionized workforce.
