Job Description ¨ Design automated equipment for manufacturing and inspection processes ¨ Specify and source controls, motion, and sensor equipment for automation projects ¨ Program automation equipment including PLC, HMI, motion control, and sensors ¨ Assembly and installation of equipment as needed ¨ Troubleshooting of PLCs, motors, sensors, and other controls equipment ¨ Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation ¨ Carry out engineering tests per written protocols, record data, and report findings ¨ Interface with Engineers, Production Operators, Production Managers, Quality Engineers, and Maintenance Personnel Responsibilities ¨ As designated by Automation Engineering Manager.
