About the Role We are seeking a skilled Automation Equipment Engineer to join our team at Wistron in Fort Worth. This role focuses on designing and implementing automation testing processes, vision control programming, and scalable automation solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis on product automation technologies. Design, plan, and manage automation testing processes. Develop and implement vision control programming for automated inspection and validation. Create scalable automation testing scripts using Python. Draft test plans, generate reports, and set up testing environments Qualifications Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2–7 years of experience in automation engineering, vision systems, and scripting for automated testing. Required Technical Skills Proficiency in Python for automation scripting. Experience with vision control programming (e.g., OpenCV, machine vision systems). Familiarity with automation frameworks and testing methodologies. Knowledge of hardware-software integration for automated systems. Ability to design and manage test plans and reports. Preferred Skills Experience with robotics or automated inspection systems. Familiarity with image processing and vision algorithms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Automation Coverage: Implement automation for more less 90% of applicable processes.
