WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive engineer to design, develop, and maintain a robust framework for automating the build and deployment processes of diverse IT applications. This includes automation of application code deployment, configuration management, and database changes across multiple environments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps (ADO),UrbanCode Deploy/Build (UCD/UCB)
  • Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy
  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools
  • Database Automation: SQL scripting, DB migration tools
  • Testing Automation: Selenium, Postman, REST Assured
  • RPA Tools: UiPath or equivalent
  • Monitoring & Dashboards: Grafana, Kibana, ELK Stack, or custom dashboard development
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in build/deployment automation
  • Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Designing and implementing a scalable automation framework to support multi-release upgrades in non-production environments.
  • Integrating various automation tools (e.g., UCD, UCB, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Selenium, UiPath) to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Developing auto sanity checks post-deployment with real-time dashboards for status tracking and double-click drill-downs.
  • Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless CI/CD processes.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the framework to accommodate evolving application requirements and technology stacks.
  • Build and maintain automation pipelines for code, configuration, and DB deployments.
  • Enable multi-release upgrade automation for non-prod environments.
  • Implement post-deployment sanity checks and monitoring dashboards.
  • Integrate with tools like Jenkins, UCD/UCB, ADO, Selenium, and UiPath.
  • Ensure traceability, logging, and error handling across automation flows.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the framework.
  • Document processes and train stakeholders on usage and best practices.
