Description
The technician will be responsible for advanced electrical troubleshooting, drive programming, PLC and software backups. They will also be responsible for vendor relationship management, spare parts strategy, and diagnostic tools management. The role involves diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in various machinery, optimizing motor control, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial Ethernet networks related to production equipment, and building strong partnerships with equipment suppliers. Additionally, the technician will develop & train maintenance staff in proper troubleshooting and replacement procedures. The selected candidate will work across multiple sites and collaborate with various teams to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production processes. Qualifications * Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on key equipment including: CNC machines, panel saws, edge banders, and automated production lines. Ensure minimal downtime and quick response time in a high-volume furniture production environments. * Troubleshoot, replace, program, and optimize VFDs and servo drives used in woodworking and metal fabrication equipment * Experience in PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) used in manufacturing. * Familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, Kuka) in material handling or assembly * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email) * Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry. * In-depth understanding of woodworking equipment maintenance * Strong understanding of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) * Experience with preventive maintenance systems and spare parts planning * Proficient in English language
