Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to support enterprise eCommerce and payment initiatives. This role requires strong experience in automation testing, API/backend validation, payment processing workflows, and end-to-end order lifecycle testing.

The ideal candidate will work across frontend and backend systems and collaborate closely with development, business, and product teams to ensure reliable and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and functional test cases for payment and eCommerce applications.
• Test payment integrations across multiple payment methods and countries.
• Perform end-to-end validation covering payment authorization, order processing, fulfillment, and revenue recognition.
• Test REST APIs, backend services, web services, and system integrations.
• Validate Salesforce eCommerce applications and OMS/MAO workflows.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable automated test suites.
• Write SQL queries for backend and data validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and release validation.
• Support continuous testing through Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on automation testing experience.
• Strong experience with REST API and backend testing.
• Good SQL skills for data validation.
• Programming experience with Python or another programming language.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing Salesforce eCommerce applications.
• Experience testing payment gateways/processors.
• Experience with OMS/MAO and order lifecycle testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned workstreams.

• Adyen payment gateway experience.
• Boomi integration testing.
• Revenue Recognition (RevRec) validation.
• Retail or eCommerce domain experience.
