We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Engineer with experience in Python, SQL, Unix scripting, and Robot Framework to support automated and manual testing activities. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This hybrid role will support agile delivery teams, contributing to continuous integration and end-to-end validation of complex applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python scripting for automation.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
  • Proficiency in writing Unix Shell scripts for automation and environment setup.
  • Experience or familiarity with Robot Framework for automation testing.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with test management and tracking tools such as JIRA, qTest, and Confluence.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and manage defect tracking and resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and stakeholders to identify test requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test management and reporting.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Conduct integration and end-to-end testing, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Participate in defect triage and provide insights into test execution and defect status.
