We are seeking an experienced Automation QE Engineer with a strong background in web-based UI test automation, Java, Selenium, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in banking and payments, preferably in checks processing, and be comfortable working in an Agile development environment. This role will involve creating and executing robust test scripts, contributing to framework design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber.
• Contribute to building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and user stories.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects or performance issues.
• Log and manage defects using standardized tracking systems.
• Validate backend data by executing basic SQL queries.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Selenium WebDriver: Hands-on experience with Selenium for browser-based UI automation.
• Java: Proficiency in Java for scripting and automation.
• BDD/Cucumber: Experience in Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber.
• SQL: Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Frameworks: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model).
• Testing Methodologies: Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Agile Development: Practical understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
• Defect Tracking: Proficiency in using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
