We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our Automation Solutions team as an Automation Scientist, who will actively drive the growth of our automation platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience with automation, liquid handling or robotic systems
  • Experience with scripting/programming e.g. Python, Linux, XML etc
  • Experience of basic life science laboratory techniques and equipment e.g. pipetting, normalisation, use of thermocyclers etc
  • Understanding of laboratory best practises
  • Experience in NGS sample preparation
  • DNA extraction methods
  • Attention to detail; ensuring precision and accuracy in experiments, data collection, and analysis
  • Problem solving and critical thinking
  • Analytical skillsCollaboration
