PreOmics is a Series B funded start-up company empowering our clients in life science to establish biological knowledge through efficient, reliable solutions and workflows that set the standard for protein analysis. PreOmics originated from the Matthias Mann Laboratory by developing unique sample preparation kits for protein-based sample analysis. PreOmics iST Kits enable researchers to more quickly analyze and profile their biologic sample from single out of the box solutions. PreOmics complements its sample preparation portfolio through unique automation solutions including the BeatBox and PreON which provide our clients with a complete workflow solution. PreOmics is continuously enhancing the customer workflow experience through our own new instrumentation and applications whilst working with established platform providers.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a technical product owner for PreOmics’ automated proteomics sample preparation solutions (instruments and kits), supporting their life cycle from launch to discontinuation.
  • Drive (hands-on) successful automation of PreOmics’ proteomics sample preparation kits on third-party automation platforms in-house and at clients’ labs
  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, operations, sales, and customer service teams to manage product-related tasks and ensure smooth operational workflows.
  • Assist with the development of new applications, features, and workflows for proprietary automation instruments.
  • Act as a key liaison between product management, sales, operations, suppliers, and other internal & external partners to streamline processes and resolve technical or logistical challenges.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and training resources.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Occasionally travel to facilitate successful automation at customer sites and represent the company at conferences, and other industry events.
  • Support market research initiatives to understand trends, identify customer needs, and inform product development strategies.
