ABOUT THE ROLE

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We deliver health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement, and work to strengthen the capacity of local healthcare systems. As part of our commitment to quality and impact, we are strengthening our MEAL systems and tools across all country programmes.
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is seeking to contract a mid-level Automation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain simple databases using Microsoft Access to support short-term projects’ data collection and analysis.
The Automation Specialist will develop and customize MS Access databases to streamline data collection, entry, and reporting for MAP’s short-term projects. The consultant will work remotely, supporting MAP offices in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, and will ensure that project data is efficiently captured, analyzed, and reported to meet program needs.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

  • To design and implement simple, user-friendly MS Access databases for data collection and analysis.
  • To improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of project data management.
  • To train MAP teams on electronic computers and mobile-based timely data entry.
