Are you ready to take on the role of a pivotal technical expert in the realm of high-capacity, rapid manufacturing processes? As an Automation Systems Specialist, you’ll ensure the seamless operation, optimization, and safeguarding of our automated systems and associated infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent expertise and experience required.
  • 5-8 years in PLC automation programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Excellent communication and technical prowess.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication with staff, vendors, and management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage work orders effectively.
  • Capable of developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
  • Implement, oversee, and sustain automation devices, operating systems, and application tools to boost plant performance metrics.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance for automated processes and machinery, particularly line controls and robotics.
  • Select and acquire replacement components and maintenance agreements.
  • Analyze options for technologies and machinery in various manufacturing environments.
  • Test and verify new or modified software to ensure adherence to user requirements and guidelines.
  • Support in procuring, integrating new equipment, and modifying automation software for material handling, production, and packaging.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation hardware.
  • Create, revise, or enhance programs for process control, robotics, and HMI systems.
  • Maintain and safeguard existing control programs for processors, robotics, HMIs, and data systems.
  • Engage in technology exploration and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Set up new hardware and software, offering necessary user training and support.
