Description

Magnum Piering in West Chester, OH is seeking to hire an Automation Technician to play an essential role in our Automation process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong grasp of different technologies, software and machinery.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to creatively and effectively draw on problem-solving abilities to troubleshot issues and rectify them quickly.
  • Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
  • Capacity to oversee and maintain automated systems.
  • Adaptability and versatility to work well in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
    Working Environment:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of temperatures depending on the season. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Must be able to regularly talk in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create new systems or modify existing ones.
  • Set up new systems or replace parts.
  • Check systems regularly and perform repairs.
