SIDENOR is looking for an Automation Technician to join the team in Thessaloniki. Sidenor Group is looking for an Automation Technician for its Steel Plant in Thessaloniki. With 60 years of industry know-how and expertise Sidenor is the largest steel industry in Greece and constitutes the steel production and trading segment of Viohalco. Sidenor Group is a leading steel producer in Southeastern Europe with 4 production units in Greece, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia. As an Automation Technician, you will report to the Maintenance Foreman. You will overview the smooth operation of the production machines during the shift (24/7), will ensure compliance with H&S and the improvement of their operation through proposals and innovative solutions. Your role: Ensure the smooth operation of the production machines during the shift Daily monitoring of the Software / Hardware of the electrical and automation equipment Carry out inspection - diagnosis and repair work Proceed with the necessary actions for the implementation of the preventive/predictive maintenance plan.
