We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for various software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), quality assurance (QA), and software testing methodologies. The Automation Engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables through effective test automation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, LoadRunner, and Cucumber.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB for data analysis.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services for integration testing.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for source code management.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Ability to perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance testing of applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on quality assurance practices in software development.

• Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as TestNG, Selenium, and JUnit.
• Conduct mobile testing for Android and iOS applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Execute functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software quality.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash for automation tasks.
