FinXL IT is looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our high-performing team, partnering with one of Australia’s leading financial services organisations. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering robust testing solutions across both API and UI layers, working within a multidisciplinary team. Your strong communication skills will be critical as you collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups, contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Robot Frameworks
• Conduct API and UI testing across multiple integrated systems
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA peers to ensure thorough test coverage
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and ensure their scalability
• Participate in defect triage meetings and contribute to root cause analysis
• Provide clear, concise test documentation and reporting to stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in automation test engineering within large financial services organisations
• Solid hands-on experience with Selenium, Robot Frameworks, and RESTful API testing
• A track record of working with multiple stakeholders across technical and business domains
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
