REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience as a Lead Test Engineer with extensive experience (7+) in building and executing test automation frameworks for functional, non-functional, API and integration testing.
• Experience with Automation testing tools such as Testsigma, Cypress, Postman, TestRigor, HammerDB, SLOB, TOAD, Azure Data factory, Jmeter, Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with ability to lead the creation of automated test scripts and modules in Python/Bash/Java/SQL and prepare/generate test/synthetic data to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection.
• Experience in documenting detailed test automation reports, including test coverage, test results, and defect analysis with the help of tools like JIRA, TestRail or Xray.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to tailor communication to respective audiences and generate required technical testing artifacts.
• Experience with Implementation projects at other enterprise organisations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams and contribute positively as a team player.
• Mentor junior team members in test automation best practices.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality with an enterprise-wide vision.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

UST is a leading global digital transformation organisation. In Australia, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a high performing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for creating and managing automated testing frameworks with a focus on non-UI/integration/back-end testing including but not limited to functional, regression, performance, security, and UAT testing of APIs, libraries, databases and infrastructure.
• Work closely with our development team to understand the requirements and design of our data-driven products and use this knowledge to create comprehensive technical test plans, ensuring the agreed development target is delivered on time with quality.
