AUTOMATION TEST LEAD - SALESFORCE:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Automation Test Lead - Salesforce for a 4 week contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

AUTOMATION TEST LEAD - SALESFORCE - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Canadian Banking Business Group is undertaking a large-scale Salesforce Integration into multiple platforms. The project requires a strong hands-on Automation Test Lead to manage the automation suite for the Salesforce Commercial application, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

AUTOMATION TEST LEAD - SALESFORCE - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 10-12+ years of software testing/automation experience.
• 3-5+ years experience in a test automation architect/test lead role.
• Proficiency with Selenium-based Automation Framework in Java and/or Python.
• Extensive experience with Jenkins and CI/CD best practices.
• API testing experience using tools such as REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or SoapUI.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Solid SQL knowledge and data verification skills for test validation.

AUTOMATION TEST LEAD - SALESFORCE – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Financial Cloud, nCino, and Salesforce APIs.
• Familiarity with banking domain requirements and regulatory/compliance considerations.
• Past experience working with 3rd party automation tools like AccelQ, Copado, or Provar.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Any Salesforce-based or Ncino certification.

• Define and own the automation strategy and architecture for the nCino and Salesforce-based banking platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver in Java and/or Python.
• Architect and implement Jenkins-driven CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing.
• Plan & implement In-Sprint or (n-1) Automation approach within each Agile sprint.
• Provide Salesforce-focused testing expertise, including validation of Lightning components and Salesforce APIs.
• Ensure end-to-end coverage across UI, APIs, and integrations with automation and manual test cases.
• Coach, mentor, and code-review junior automation engineers; enforce coding standards.
