We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of our products through effective test automation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools including Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services for integration testing.
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle for data validation.
• Understanding of version control systems such as SVN or Git.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform A/B testing and functional analysis.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

• Design and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Conduct mobile testing for Android and iOS applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Implement continuous integration (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Execute functional testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software quality.
• Utilize data analysis skills to assess test results and report findings effectively.
• Maintain test cases in HP ALM or similar test management tools.
• Support performance testing initiatives using LoadRunner or similar tools.
• Engage in debugging and troubleshooting of software issues across various platforms.
