Job Summary: The Automation Test Lead will be responsible for leading, guiding, and overseeing the execution of the automation testing process for the Telco project. This includes managing the test team, tracking test activities, and ensuring the timely resolution of defects. The ideal candidate will be able to set clear priorities, guide the team through the test lifecycle, and ensure that the testing results meet project quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Execution: Lead, guide, and monitor the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases, test procedures, and test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage. Team Management: Assign tasks to the test team, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure that testing is conducted efficiently and aligns with the project timeline. Test Execution Management: Oversee and manage the execution of tests, ensuring that all test cases are executed properly, and report test results to key stakeholders. Defect Tracking & Resolution: Track defects, ensuring that they are documented, prioritized, and followed through to resolution in a timely manner. Coordinate with development teams to resolve issues. Quality Assurance: Ensure the testing process adheres to the established quality standards and guidelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all testing activities. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements within the testing lifecycle, recommend solutions, and implement changes to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to communicate test progress, defects, risks, and ensure alignment with project goals. Responsible to create a roadmap and a plan for completing automation test coverage, and communicate regularly to the stakeholders Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certificate: ISTQB CFTL is a MUST Experience: 5+ years of experience in automation software testing, with at least 2-3 years in a Test Lead or senior test role. Experience in telecommunications projects is highly desirable. Skills: Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Junit, Katalon); preferable UIPath Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo. Highly proficient in programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript); Preferable C# Excellent understanding of defect tracking and resolution processes. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team collaboration. Preferred Certifications: ISTQB CTAL-TM Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe) are a plus.
