ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for skilled Automation Specialists within Batch Recipe Design to join the Process and Batch Automation team. The Process and Batch Automation team is a hybrid team comprising two teams of experts from the Process Automation and Manufacturing IT department.
The Process and Batch Automation teams work together to translate process requirements into utility, Clean-in-place (CIP), and product manufacturing recipes (Master Batch Records (MBR)) for batch-based manufacturing process for Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries. We are skilled in a broad range of process areas within API production e.g., fermentation, recovery and purification, utility, and cleaning systems, working both on greenfield and brownfields project.
We are in the process of launching several large projects, which include digital factories, and we are therefore looking for new colleagues with background and interest within automation and master batch recipe design using ABB 800xA.
Based on your profile and career aspiration, you will become a key element of either Manufacturing IT or Process Automation department taking up this leading role in developing and integrating automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotech Engineering or related life science engineering
  • 5+ years of Recipe development experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries using e.g. ABB 800xA Batch Management, DeltaV
  • 5+ years of ABB System 800xA or SattLine DCS Application development experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries
  • Knowledge and application of cGMP manufacturing and regulatory regulations and requirements for biologics/pharmaceuticals
  • Knowledge and application of ANS/ISA-88 (process control) standar
