Larson Automotive Group is seeking experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable professionals to join our corporate accounting office. This role requires candidates with automotive AP/AR experience who are well-organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment. As part of our team, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining accurate accounts payable records, processing payments, and supporting the dealership’s financial operations. Larson Automotive Group is expanding every day, and we’re excited to see the impact you will have!

Responsibilities
  • Voucher and Payment Processing: Check all vouchers and ensure appropriate payment approval before preparing accounts payable checks.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Post all open accounts payable items daily and print reports. Maintain files and records related to accounts payable.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable statements and ledgers, ensuring payments are in line with dealership schedules.
  • Petty Cash: Manage petty cash systems and communicate cash requirements for payment dates to the Office Manager.
  • Vendor Communication: Approve new charge accounts, collect past due accounts, and resolve any vendor inquiries. Analyze vendor accounts for accuracy and discrepancies.
  • Monthly Closing Reports: Assist in monthly closing reports and help with special accounting projects as needed.
  • Multitasking and Deadlines: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Clear Communication: Ensure that records are legible, concise, and complete for dealership and customer use. Communicate clearly, both verbally and non-verbally.
