This is a great opportunity to build your skills in the auto-repair industry in a supportive, professional environment under the supervision of our experienced Service Technicians.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable interest in becoming an automotive service technician
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver record
  • Computer literacy, including the ability to learn new software programs and adapt to change as we upgrade our shop to improve the employee experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle a steady volume of customers and appointments without sacrificing the quality of work
  • Ability to share your experience with others effectively, mentoring apprentices and new team members
  • Team player who cares about getting good outcomes for both themself and their teammates in the shop

Responsibilities

The Service Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to automotive service and maintenance. This includes:

  • Executing basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on various vehicles of different makes, with the support of modern software (e.g., AutoServe1, MyShopManager, Autoleap etc.) and processes to make your life as a technician easier
  • Operating and maintaining a variety of top-of-the-line shop equipment
  • Maintaining accurate automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions
  • Working both independently and alongside team members to ensure exceptional service delivery, including mentoring shop apprentices and new hires
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment for both employees and customers
