Description We are seeking a skilled and versatile Automotive Body and Paint Technician to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. This role combines traditional auto body repair and refinishing with professional spray-painting techniques. You will perform collision repairs, frame alignment, and high-quality paint applications while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in both bodywork and painting, and committed to safety and precision. Requirements Responsibilities Assessment, Planning & Repair: Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine the appropriate repair and paint process. Perform welding, soldering, frame/unibody repairs, and dent removal. Align and replace structural or mechanical parts damaged in accidents. Painting & Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and apply chemical solutions to condition surfaces. Mask and cover areas not to be painted. Mix and spray primer, sealer, and paint using appropriate techniques. Apply high-quality finishes according to OEM standards. Quality Assurance & Workflow: Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality and completeness. Maintain clean work areas and equipment. Accurately document all work completed including time, materials, and before/after photos. Customer Service & Collaboration: Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members. Provide updates, advice, and recommendations for ongoing vehicle care. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in auto body repair and/or paint application. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and surface preparation tools. Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards. Working Conditions Full-time, in-person role based in Carrollton, Texas. Must be able to lift 35 pounds and work in varying temperatures. Exposure to noise, fumes, and physically demanding tasks. Schedule includes Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekend availability as needed. Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly rate plus commission and bonus opportunities.
