JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to perform repairs efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• 3 Experience with automotive repair is required.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle repairs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (preferred)

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems in vehicles.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary during repairs or part replacements.
• Perform vehicle surface preparation including sanding, grinding, masking and cleaning prior to painting.
